50x70cm, tempera paint

I think I need to add some comments here.
Originally I've not even planned to paint anything heroic about Kain: I was overloaded with works, and in my free time I draw stupid sketches about his movements, so the sketch for this pict was one of his stealth killings!!!
I was not pleased with the result, and always corrected it until Kain ended up in this position. The last thing was to decide what the hell shall he do with his left hand, and then came the idea for the flag: that was the moment when I saw that it must be painted.

I've listened tons of music while I was painting, and there's one that really match this pic: The 4th on the Return of the King soundtrack( The White Tree)-when the beacons on the White Mountains were lit in the movie
